Hi, I’m Kristin Smithers! Known throughout the wellness and tanning industries as The Red Light Queen™. But this title wasn’t given lightly. It was earned through years of personal healing, professional certification, and hands-on experience helping people and businesses discover the real, science-backed power of light.

Why Light Therapy?
My journey began in my twenties, when I was diagnosed with congenital arthritis. Traditional medicine left me searching for complementary options. That’s when I discovered photobiomodulation (PBM), commonly known as red light therapy. The results were so profound, I knew I couldn’t keep this to myself.
As a salon manager at the time, I asked my boss to bring in red light. She said it wasn’t legal. I knew there had to be more to the story. So I took matters into my own hands. When I opened my own spa, red light was the first service I brought in! Not just any device, but a 510(k) cleared medical-grade system.

I’m Board-Certified through the Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences and certified through the Photonic Therapy Institute. Unlike most industry training, my education goes deep into light science, safety, dosing, and proper application.
